Hi, I have also observed the "pop" at the start of wav playback so nice to know
someone has got that sorted.

I also have an issue on Linux only (works fine in Windows), whereby if my
sample's total length is <= ~370 ms then I get dead silence. If > 370 then it
plays fine (including the header:). I've only tested this in the SUSE VMWare
image, not on a real PC.

I am generating the wav data (including header) in memory (via io.memorystream)
them using SoundPlayer to play this.

I am building a basic music tracker app so would like to see it working
properly under Linux...
