A couple of other details:

1) I encountered this issue in SVN revision 133896

2) The color combo box isn't shown by default (however, it is shown in the
attached test case application).  The ShowColor property of the FontDialog
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.forms.fontdialog.showcolor.aspx)
is what determines whether the color combo box is shown or not.
