As a workaround, try removing -DUSE_MMAP -DUSE_MUNMAP from
this line in configure.in:
               CPPFLAGS="$CPPFLAGS -DGC_LINUX_THREADS -D_GNU_SOURCE
-D_REENTRANT -DUSE_MMAP -DUSE_MUNMAP"
