I get the same _wapi_connect warning when I try to obtain a MySql connection
from my openSuse 11.1 machine trying to access a Win2003 server (ie ACCTserver
not the local IP) that can be accessed via Samba. If I add '192.168.1.xxx
ACCTserver' to /etc/host file problem goes away.
