Hi Brad, in revision 130527(the rpm package is new).The problem you mentioned
is still exist.

steps:
1.   Run uia2atk/test/samples/maskedtextbox.py
2.   Type "abc" in the fourth textbox which is only accepted letters in
MaskedTextBox
3.   Move the cursor to the beginning of the field
4.   then type "kfc" in the four textbox

RESULTS

     "abc____"
EXPECTED RESULTS
     "kfcabc_"
