See bug 478648, this is reported as one of the items there -- along with some
further diagnosis.

In short: a config file in installed in the GAC but containing a constant path
"/tmp/install/lib/monodoc"[1]. :-(  However even when a workaround is applied
monodoc crashes in a different way.


[1] BTW There are quite a few of files containing /tmp/... or c:/cygwin/tmp/...
