Jonathan, your change looks like it will work.

Interestingly excluding mono.lib only saves us 3MB on the total size. 
Compressed by itself it's 17MB but much of the data in this file is also in
other files so with compression with everything else we only save 3MB.

Still it's a large amount of space on-disk.  And since Miguel already gave his
approval I'm going to go ahead and commit it.   Hopefully if someone is trying
to embed mono on windows they will email us.
