The fix appears to be incomplete.

  cd runtime && make mcs-compileall

gives tons of

ERROR:../../../../mono/mono/mini/branch-opts.c:329:mono_if_conversion:
assertion failed: (compare->next && MONO_IS_COND_BRANCH_OP (compare->next))

The code that was moved probably needs more assumptions checked.
