This is an mcs bug. From 
<SearchForValuesByDepth>c__IteratorB`1::MoveNext in Hyena.dll:

        IL_0153:  isinst !!0
        IL_0158:  unbox.any !!0

this isn't a generic method, but it references method type variables.
