building mono-2.4 RC3 source tar on PPC64 SLES11

Test run:

Unhandled Exception: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to
an instance of an object
  at Tests.test_0_float_load_and_store_with_big_offset () [0x00000]

Steps to Reproduce:
1.configure
2.make
3.make check
Actual Results:  
mono/mini/basic-calls.exe, opts=peephole,branch,linears fails

Expected Results:  
sucess of basic-calls.exe
