I did anyway (for next time)...OpenSUSE seems to be the way to go to be on the
bleeding edge of mono unless you enjoy compiling things for hours. Oh, and the
problem is the same there with the 2.4 preview 2.  And good job reproducing it
as point 2. above should have read:

2. Click and hold down the left mouse button with the mouse on any child node.

In the mean time, do you think this will be fixed before 2.4 is released?  That
would make me very happy (and, after all...it's all about making me happy)  ;)

Thanks for your good work (without which my silly program will not work on
linux or mac)!
