During all these tests, I somehow completely fucked up my other workstation
(Rohan), so I decided to upgrade it to OpenSuSE 11.1.

I think having both 11.0 and 11.1 available is a good idea anyways, so I can
always run tests on both systems.  Working in an VMware image really sucks
badly.

Since I can now reproduce this issue inside a SuSE 11.1 image (with VMware
running on Windows), I assume this'll also apply to a local installation of
11.1.

I'll give you another update tomorrow, the installation is now running, so I'll
know more tomorrow.

Regarding the crashes, we need to backport:
120452-120454, 120992, 121401-121402, 123467.

I'll do that tomorrow as well.
