thank you for your quick answer.

today, I uninstalled the entire web project and uploaded a simply test file
with the output "hello world". when I used the language tag '<%@
language="VB"%>' then I got the above error but with <%@ language="C#"%> the
browser shows me without an error 'hello world'. must I install additional
files for the vb-compiler? I have absolutely no idea what is going on. 

I hope you will have some other ideas.
