I don't have much info :
1. Snow leopard 
2. Mono 2.4.2.3
3. The process was running as root
4. Environment variables MallocStackLoggingNoCompat and MallocScribble were set
to 1 (see malloc_history or leaks commands) 

Started up my process, it ran for less than a minute and than crashed.
This process rarely crashes, and the crash happened once, but the stacktrace
hinted this is worth a deeper look.
