pkg-config --modversion mono fails on Mac OS X

because glib*.pc and gthread.pc are not installed in the pkgconfig directory

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.pkg-config --modversion mono from a shell window.

Actual Results:  
glib-2.0 required by mono not found

Expected Results:  
Should state 2.6
