I tried with 2.4.2.3 (Suse live CD and Ubuntu fresh compile).
The database Schema and the program is available from
http://photoprinter.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/photoprinter/PhotoPrinter/JMGPhotoPrinter/PhotoPrinter/Database/
