This is caused because I only added the TCP_PIPE_CHANNEL conditional to the
Debug configuration on the Linux side, and then we built with the Release
profile.

According to Everaldo, we can use this:

/configure --enable-debug

to build the Debug profile.  So we need to rebuild r3676 with this.
