When using a SoundPlayer in a trivial manner (either by a Stream source or a
file source) the playback on Linux is very choppy.  Someone on the mailing
lists confirmed he sees the same problem on 2.4.  That's about all the info I
have on the problem.  Let me know if more is needed.
