Actually, even that doesn't work when I try it. Not in kate, not in gedit, not
in firefox. Moreover, I believe Klipper (part of kde) keeps track of the
clipboard, both of them. And it never shows any sign of the text from the Mono
app.

Right now I have r131930, but I update every once in a while to see if
something has changed.
