If you select some text in the RichTextBox, and then go to a x11 application
(say, gedit) and use Edit->Paste or right-click and then select Paste, the text
will be effectively pasted.

Probably what you want is to have the text copied (using the clipboard class)
and then just use the middle click - which is not gonna work, since the x11
standard in freedesktop mentions that explicit copy/paste operations work
independently from select/middle click operations. So in mwf we are using the
explicit way.

Are you sure you are using the right vesion? I have tested the sample with
firefox (which is a larger app than gedit, for example), and it works by
pasting using the explicit Paste menu.
