Guys: the patch is already here, anyone can go and apply it, comment #8.

The Mono team has not released 2.0 as we have had a number of setbacks, and we
will not be releasing until the 6th (this is the new tentative date) and the
second release on the 14th.

You do not need the Mono team to do the work, we are completely bogged down.
