I just re-tested this on Mono 1.9.1 and it works.

However, it now fails on Mono 2.0rc1. The VM segfaults (I'll attach the
output).

To reproduce, follow the exact steps outlined in the original description.

The client can successfully send messages to the server, but the server
segfaults when it tries to send to the client.

Re-opening.
