Correction to the above: the main loop is now exiting properly, so apps will
not exit abruptly if the control is disposed, and will shutdown cleanly when
closed.

The test app on this bug is still not working properly because restarting gecko
after shutting it down (without restarting the application) is not working
properly. For the moment, am at a loss as to how to make it behave properly in
this situation.
