I have libgdiplus0-1.9.1-4.1 installed, that might be the default install.

I never build my own Mono, just installed from DVD.

My locale is en_US.UTF-8, and did not change the fonts. 

Yes!, "export MONO_MWF_SCALING=disable" works for me, thanks a lot!  :)

But, I'm not sure it is a Mono Bug, or it's my problem?
