The problem here is that the user.config file is not being saved.
The location of the file is different in 2 different files and the one that we
try to create is in $PREFIX instead of $HOME/.config

I was able to create the right file in the right place, but then it wasn't
being loaded.
I'm passing this one on to Atsushi as he seems to be the person that wrote most
of the files involved.
