Could you try this using Mono 2.0?  

And if it works, it would be best to do a binary search over the various
releases that we did with Mono to identify the problem and provide a solution.

Additionally, like Paolo said, the above log is not very useful.

Please:

(a) attach with GDB when the process hangs, and obtain a stack trace from all
threads, see http://mono-project.com/Debugging for more information.

(b) If you reliably crash it, run Mono under GDB and follow the instructions
above.
