I like the idea of using that recorder.

I will try to prototype an API;

Also, I am not happy with the current API model (the static-ness of it), so I
will try to expose an instance model even if internally its all static, to keep
the doors open for future changes.

I do not know what you mean by your second paragraph ("some problems exist...
will bef ixed...");
