           Summary: Various faults in gsharp.exe as tested on MSWindows
           Product: Mono: Compilers
           Version: 2.2.x
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW

As tested on Windows with the first 2.2 preview. Don't know how many of them
occur on Linux, nor whether some of them are actually GTK#(?) issues. Some are
low severity.

1) Stays attached to the console. Should the wrapper scripts use "monow"
rather than "mono"?

2) The output from ShowUsing() and ShowVars() appears on console (stdout?) and
not in the window.

3) The app never exits if one types Alt+F4 or clicks the X; does exit with
File->Quit.

4) Exception about Mono_Posix_Syscall_L_ctermid occurs on opening "Attach to
Process" dialog -- but the dialog remains open.

5) "Attach to Process" dialog isn't closed by the <Cancel> button; though
typing Escape key does close it.

6) Turning the "Gtk Pane" menuitem on and back off produces an error and the
app aborts!
msg box: [[
---------------------------
Error
---------------------------

Gtk-ERROR **: file gtkwidget.c: line 4043 (gtk_widget_reparent_fixup_child):
assertion failed: (client_data != NULL)
aborting...

---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
]]
stdout/err: [[
(gsharp:3720): Gtk-WARNING **: Attempting to add a widget with type
GtkScrolledWindow to a GtkEventBox, but as a GtkBin subclass a GtkEventBox can
only contain one widget at a time; it already contains a widget of type
GtkNotebook

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
]]

7) Using the <Cancel> button on the "Describe Type" dialog shows an incorrect
message-box: "The type XXXXX was not found". Repro: open the dialog, enter
System.Int32, hit Cancel, see "The type System.Int32 was not found", confusing!

8) There are no access-key indicators on the View and Help menus. The other
two do have them however! They're also missing on some menuitems too.
b) In WinForms the access-keys would take effect implicitly.
