It would be nice to have a way to switch on/off the trapping of those runtime
exceptions.

>From the MD side of the things, the user just configure on the debugger
launcher settings that he/she wants the debuggers to stop or not when such
exception is raised. This is very helpful to fix a NRE in large programs.
