I set up mono_backtrace, and it gives me 

#2 0x41c41f25 in  (wrapper managed-to-native)
System.Diagnostics.StackFrame:get_frame_info

So, it looks like something is trying to generate a stacktrace, and causing a
runtime crash.

This looks consistant. I can reproduce it on my code base. I have no idea how
to get you a simple test case, though.
