Geoff,

The problem is, with SVN I can't selectively include lines in a diff. That's
why I asked Miguel whether I should create e.g. a git repo for it somewhere,
that would've allowed maintaining multiple branches and diffing those against
each other to create more aspect-oriented patches. With SVN I can only diff
against things on your server already...

I do understand your concerns about patch readability of the diff, but that
doesn't offer me a way to effectively produce readable ones without throwing
away valid uncommitted code.

Would it be an option for you to review non-SVN patches if I set up a local
Git/Mercurial/whatever repo?
