Repro -- zipped-up VS2005 solution

Err, I gave two repros in the original description.  Are neither of them
failing for you?  

It seems to be resources related which firstly makes me suspect that it's
related to bug 366489, but secondly means that its not possible to create a
simple single file repro as I normally do and I don't like attaching zipped-up
projects...

OK I've just done the create the "insert standard items" app as described in
the description and attached it...  Move the mouse across the toolstrip and
then back across, kappow!
