Fixes this bug without messing with the signature

This patch fixes the issue returning only relevant values to the managed side.

It avoids messing with marshalling with would be a higher risk change for such
fix.

It passes all relevant tests, corlib 1.1/2.0, compiler tests and mono
regression suite.
