I just committed code turning back on shape caching (and making it work with
bubblemark's smaller shapes, as well as the new UpdatePosition code).

here's what I get on my 2.2GHz laptop:

  1 ball : 96fps
  8 balls: 89fps
 16 balls: 83fps
 32 balls: 39fps
 64 balls: 24fps
128 balls: 12fps

big drop at 32fps (maybe the cache max size needs bumping?), but we're *much*
better than before.  Going to go ahead and mark this fixed.
