Hey Alexander,
   Thanks for the test case! :)

Running your test case, I was able to access the website using the lower case
"default.aspx" (see results below). 

So, I think that this bug was fixed in Mono 1.9.1 for windows.

Could you please confirm this?

Here are the steps I followed:
1. Downloaded and unzipped the test case
2. Installed Mono 1.9.1 on Windows XP 64bit from here:
    http://www.go-mono.com/mono-downloads/download.html

3. Opened the "Mono-1.9.1 Command Prompt"
4. Changed directory into the "Published site" directory of the test case
5. ran xsp2
6. accessed the site with the url: http://localhost:8080

Results:
1) http://localhost:8080/ - OK
2) http://localhost:8080/Default.aspx - OK
3) http://localhost:8080/default.aspx - OK
4) http://localhost:8080/other_default.aspx - Error: The resource cannot be
found.
