Oddly enough, I cannot reproduce it here.

Anyway, I see how this could happen, it should have been introduced in r106820.
Some of the "last events" get lost at profiler shutdown.
But don't bother trying to go back: r106820 was itself a fix, and cannot be
reverted.

I will try to fix this today.
