it's not a bug fight.  it's the observation that just because a bug won't be
fixed in a current release, that's not a reason to close the bug.  Dude, I'm
sorry it's pissing you off, but given what happened with the signal 33 bug, you
have to realize that what you're doing is wrong, don't you?
