Summary: System.Xml.Linq installed in 3.5 profile while
                    System.Core in 2.0 profile
           Product: Mono: Class Libraries
           Version: SVN
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P5 - None
         Component: Sys.Core
        AssignedTo: mono-bugs at lists.ximian.com

I am not sure if this is intentional or not, but System.Xml.Linq.dll is
installed in /usr/lib/mono/3.5 (along with System.Web.Extensions.dll and
System.Web.Extensions.Design.dll), while System.Core.dll (which is also .NET
3.5) is installed in /usr/lib/mono/2.0.

My understanding is that install path is based on runtime requirements, which
are same for 3.5 as for 2.0, thus both assemblies should be installed in 2.0.

Currently, gmcs compiler cannot find System.Xml.Linq when compiled with
-r:System.Xml.Linq. Also, MonoDevelop is unable to find this assembly as no .pc
file is installed and no assembly is found in 2.0 profile.
