The tarball you get for the whole 'mcs' directory (from the "Download tarball"
link at the bottom of the ViewCVS page) is invalid: long filenames are
truncated.

It seems to have been fixed in ViewVC 1.0.4, January 2007
(http://viewvc.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=12).
