Description of Problem:
SplitContainer crashes if BackColor is set to transparent.
When set in the designer, code generated is:
this.splitContainer1.BackColor = System.Drawing.Color.Transparent;
Screen with container will crash and close app

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create a new project as a Windows Application.
2. Add a SplitContainer to the form1
3. Set the splitContainer BackColor to "transparent"


Actual Results:
App will close when that form is open

Expected Results:
Mono shows form with container in it.

How often does this happen? 
Everytime.
