Steps to reproduce:
 - Run the NPlot winforms app from the wf-apps package
 - click on the "PlotSurface2D Demo" button
 - A new form opens with some graphs.
 - Close the new form.


Expected results:
 - The new form should close, but the original form should remain open.

Actual results:
 - The entire app crashes
