Upon reading that article, it seems to be this is a windows message that gets
the password char being used on a textbox or richtextbox control that has been
created in windows and that if that textbox has not had a password char set,
then it will default to '*'.. So I don't see how it could be used within mono.
If there is somewhere in the locale settings objects that gets a system
password character, then I'm happy (of course) to change it to that as I do
agree that hard-coding it doesn't seem right. Otherwise, can this bug be set to
resolved?
Thanks.
