Gert, I've tried many times to reproduce this on windows, with many different
fonts (though I don't have the two you've used) and either using the keyboard
to get focus back to the RTF or the mouse to set the cursor.

The only thing I've found is sometimes I get a flicker - could you let me know
what the symptoms are exactly, e.g. whether the "DEF" appears at the begining
of the line line ABC isn't there, or if "ABC" just isn't visible and whether
its a refresh issue, fixed by forcing a refresh, if the text re-appears when
you continue typing.
