Ok, that change alone triggers an assert in
move_subclasses_not_in_image_foreach_func() in generic-sharing.c, but I'm not
sure the assert is entirely safe, especially during shutdown. Will have to ask
Mark tomorrow, removing it doesn't seem to have any memory corruption running
in valgrind either.
