Why do you feel that our set of supported locales is limited?
I think it would make sense to change MOno to:
(a) Introduce more locales, specially well known ones that have limitations.
(b) Provide smarter fallbacks: when data for a particular Unix locale can not
be looked up in our own locale information, to call into the Unix libraries to
fetch the data.
