Actually, it has nothing to do with suse or redhat specifically. It has
everything to do with the generic linux installer. So, anyone who uses the
generic linux installer on a recent distro will probably have this problem
(including on a recent suse or redhat).

So, once we ship Mono 2.0, and the distros pick it up as their default, then
everything should be fine.
