I verified that all 3 cases are fixed in Mono 2.0p2 on SLED 10 sp2 i586.


For case #2 on the generic linux installer, I talked to Andrew and he said that
a fix for the generic linux installer would not be easy to do (if at all).

Since the generic linux installer is officially unsupported, we're not going to
spend any time trying to fix this.

The generic linux installer is basically provided "as is", and if it works for
you, great. If not, sorry.
