I wonder if this is one of those security features from Fedora, the output from
gdb running Mono running mcs would probably help, please attach a stack trace.

This combination (architecture/os/platform) is not something we actively test
or support, so I am resetting the priority to Minimum (from our project
perspective, it is not major or normal).
