Thanks to borrillis on #mono, the attached program compiles and runs without
error under .NET.

Compiling the attached program with .NET CSC and running under Mono generates
the  mono_convert_imt_slot_to_vtable_slot stack trace.

The implication is that gmcs isn't at fault, the JIT is.
