           Summary: System.IO.Compression behaves strangely
           Product: Mono: Class Libraries
           Version: 1.9
          Platform: x86-64
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P5 - None
         Component: CORLIB
        AssignedTo: mono-bugs at lists.ximian.com
        ReportedBy: Dax at daxxfiles.net
         QAContact: mono-bugs at lists.ximian.com
          Found By: ---

Description of Problem:
When using System.IO.Compression.*Stream for HTTP-compression, output ist
garbled to various degrees.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. download attachment
2. start xsp
3. open Deflate.aspx / GZip.aspx

Actual Results:
Using Deflate, several bytes of junk precede the actual content. The GZip-site
is not usable at all.

Expected Results:
No problems with either method (the way MS.NET behaves).

How often does this happen?
Every time.
